CLARK, LEE, & WILLIAMS WIN PLAYOFF TO SECURE 2026 YAHAMA 3-PRO

JACKSON, MS – MAY 18, 2026: GSPGA Tournament Director Cody Clark, PGA, 1.50 Golf’s David Lee, PGA & Mississippi University for Women Head Coach, Benji Williams, PGA, are your 2026 Yamaha 3-Pro Championship winners. The team came out of the bunched top end of the leaderboard with three teams tied for 1st at -14. A scorecard playoff was used to decide the winner, with the teams of Reed Hughes, PGA, Allan Martel, PGA, Jake Narro, PGA, and Cory Cooper, PGA, Jacob Ross, PGA, Justin Rollins, PGA just missing out on the top spot. 

The annual competition takes place at Whisper Lake Country Club, which is generous enough to host the event every year. The par 64 18-hole executive course is a perfect host for the easy-going nature of the event, with a 6-hole Shootout featured in the competition after play on the main course. With music playing and plenty of refreshments, the field enjoyed the well-manicured short course with the team of James Moore, PGA, Josh Carnes, PGA, and Clay Weems, PGA, coming out victorious playing a challenging 3-man alternate shot format. 

This year’s event was made special by many great sponsors who made the trip to be with us onsite. Jeff Jungers of Yamaha was the title sponsor of the event and went all out, making drinks and food all day for the competitors. Jeff also provided the music and vibes for the alternate shot portion of the competition on The Loop. Blake Hatfield, PGA of Cutter & Buck, not only supported the event as a sponsor but also had a team! Nick Spath, PGA of Dashclip, wowed the GSPGA Membership with their impressive custom laser engraving on GSPGA-branded wallets. Kelly Welsh of Oakley took over a par 3 and, as always, had a great setup showcasing Oakley’s product, and finally, James Dutchske was able to be with us on hole #1, handing out sharp Surf & Turf hats to all of our players. To have this many gracious sponsors who make the effort to be out in front of our GSPGA Membership is a tremendous privilege, and we cannot thank them enough for supporting our Section.
