We were glad to help promote PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) in an interview this past week. If you haven't heard of it before, PGA HOPE is a free program that introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Kyle Ellis, PGA of The Country Club of Oxford is your 2026 Gulf States PGA Professional Champion, edging out Will Maciasz, PGA of Grand Bear Golf Course in a playoff. 🏆
Ellis & Maciasz will move on to the 2027 PGA of America National Professional Championship at Streamsong Golf Resort next April. Jacob Berry, PGA, Jacob Ross, PGA & Jake Narro, PGA are our alternate qualifiers!
TPC Louisiana was a true championship host these past two days and we must thank Head Professional - Alex Abbruzza, PGA, GM - Luke Farabaugh, PGA & Superintendent - Luke McCool for their hard work during the championship.

The Gulf States Section, Professional Golfers’ Association of America, is an association of golf professionals whose mission is to promote interest, participation, and enjoyment in the game of golf; establish and maintain professional standards of practice; and enhance the well-being of golf professionals.
Strategic Objectives:
- Establish a collegial and supportive environment among PGA Members, including:

The mission of the LJGT is to create more playing opportunities for ALL junior golfers in Louisiana and to do so at an affordable rate.

Total PDR per cycle = 54 Meeting/Education/Player Development/Professional Standards = 36
