LANDRY HEADS TO THE 2025 SANDERSON FARMS CHAMPIONSHIP!
The 2024 Gulf States E-Z-GO Section Championship was held at Money Hill Golf & Country
Club on September 16-17th in Abita Springs, LA. The field was comprised of 34 players.
Grant Landry, PGA, of New Orleans CC, played exceptionally well. He had a consistent two
days with a total combined score of 144 (72-72). Jake Narro, PGA, of Hammond, LA came in
second with 72-73–145, securing the Senior Division Title. Jon Howell, PGA, of Annandale
Golf Club followed with 71-75–146.
With the win, Landry will earn an exemption into the 2025 PGA TOUR Sanderson Farms
Championship.
Grant remarked, “Once the rain hit during round two, I was able to settle down and lock in some
quality shots. During the final four holes, I knew I was close to the lead, I was fortunate to hit a
solid shot coming into 18 which resulted in a birdie to secure the win. I am still processing that I
will have the opportunity to compete in the Sanderson Farms & it is a dream come true. I will
forever be grateful for this opportunity”
Jake Narro, PGA, claimed the Senior Division by five shots over Reg Adams, PGA, of
Huntington Park Golf course (74-76–150).
