Jackson, MS: The Inaugural Orange Whip Stableford Four-Ball Championship was held at The Country Club of Jackson on Monday, May 3rd. Although the clouds were threatening all day, 18 Pro-Pro teams came out to the capital of Mississippi to play golf.
Reed Hughes, PGA of Senatobia, MS, and Carter Callaway, PGA Associate at Hattiesburg Country Club ended the day with 14 points. David Henninger of Annandale Golf Club, and DJ Rye of Annandale Golf Club came in second with a score of 12.
Carter later remarked, “We made a couple pars where we thought we were in trouble. We actually made a birdie on a par 5, where we thought we would make an easy birdie we had to chip in from 30 yards.”
We would like to thank all of those that made the Orange Whip Stableford Four-Ball possible. Jim Hackenberg, PGA and Steve Sahli of Orange Whip, Jeff Morici of Bushnell, and Kelly Welsh of Oakley.
