  • What got you into golf? Did you play in college or High School? If so where?
    • Golf has always been in my family. As soon as I could walk, my grandfather put a golf club in my hand and he, myself, and my dad played golf together every weekend. From that day forward, golf has always been something that I wanted to pursue. I played golf all four years of high school at Denham Springs High School but did not play college golf.
  • What is your favorite part of the golf business?
    • My favorite part of the golf business is teaching and coaching. Helping juniors, adults, beginners, and experienced golfers get better at the game each and every day brings me great joy because nothing brings more happiness to someone than a purely struck golf shot.
  • If you have any goals you would like to share?
    • My goal in the golf business is to become a head golf professional. Working with my mentor and friend Chris Burkstaller has led me to want to follow in his footsteps. Chris is the epitome of what a true Golf Professional should be and I have enjoyed the process of learning all the aspects it takes to become a golf professional from him.
  • What is your favorite hole at Greystone?
    • My favorite hole at Greystone Golf & Country Club is Hole #9. Hole #9 is a true risk/reward par 5. If you hit a good tee shot, you are enticed to go for the small island green in 2. But if you miss-hit the shot at all, you are then faced with a tough up and down for par.
  • What is your all-time favorite course?
    • My all-time favorite golf course that I have played is Arcadia Bluffs in Arcadia, Michigan. The golf course has amazing views on every hole and is extremely challenging. By walking the course with a caddy, I was able to enjoy every aspect of the course.
  • What’s in your bag?
    • I am on staff with Callaway Golf. My bag includes:
      • Driver – Callaway Epic Speed
      • 3 Wood – Callaway Mavrik Sub-Zero 15*

  • What level of the PGA PGM Program are you currently in and when do you anticipate completing this level?
    • I am currently in Level 1 of the PGA PGM Program. I plan on completing Level 1 by the end of March or Early April.
