METAIRIE, La. – The National Car Rental Pro-Am Presented by Silver Slipper Casino Hotel named its Team Champions for 2016 at Diamondhead Country Club on Tuesday, October 18th.

Out of a record 31 teams totaling 124 players, this year’s winners included Host PGA Professional Chris Altese, Larry Popovich, Glenn Conover, and Don Mathews. Team Altese won in a scorecard playoff over Team J. Tomblin, which consisted of PGA Professional Josh Tomblin of TPC Louisiana, James Bulger, Ken Foreman, and Lenny Fontenot.

There was a three-way tie for the Title of Low Amateur Net and that was between Don Mathews, Mike Davis, and Ken Foreman with a score of 12-under 60. Taking home the Low PGA Professional Title was Matt Brunetz of Ladd’s with a score of 2-under 70.
